They just said they weren't showing Antiques Roadshow, so presumably will be closer to the original schedule.

Wouldn't get too worried, two of four of those are done, and the third will be finished by the end of next week.

Round about the time you stopped maturing I think.

Obviously he meant 10 past eight. But you knew that.

Well it tends to happen every over year; in 2016 there'll be the European Football Championships (expanded to 24 teams from 16 - meaning an earlier round of knockout matches) and the Olympics.

One should be used to the pattern by now!:)

god we are only know suffering a World Cup, that no one cares about, can there really be another one so soon? As far as the Olympics, I guess 2012 has cast a long shadow, but I may be ready to ignore another in 2016.

It feels like there has been alot this year, and as soon as we get past one, there is another one right around the corner.

Life would be rather dull without big events, would it not?

to the non football fan, the European and Wold Cups do not appear to be all that different.

Well in one of them England can't lose to a South American team, Hope that explains the difference.

Oh and before 2016, Olympics and European Championships, there is a new event next year.

European Games (think Olympics but Europe only) and a Rugby Union World Cup.

Soon be 2017, no football, rugby or multi sport events.
Though Channel 4 and BBC both have World Athletics from London.
