The repeated references to Zoe earlier this year got me thinking that she'd return. Didn't happen. Still predicting she might make a one off appearance in the Kat and Alfie spinoff.
With Zainab there have been blocks of episodes where the Masoods mention her frequently but nothing happens. With this being the most serious thing Mas has said/done (taken Kamil to England), it would look very bad for the writers not to bring her back.
This is pretty much my feeling.I feel those that think this foreshadows a Zainab return are barking up the wrong tree.
