Duel is my favourite Stephen Spielberg film. No matter how many times I've seen it I'm still on the edge of my seat at scene where the truck is hurtling towards the phone box that Dennis Weaver's character is in.
Can't remember where I heard this but isn't the sound effect Spielberg used when the truck flies over the cliff the same sound effect he used when the shark had just been blown up in Jaws? I may be talking nonsense with this.....
You never tyre of watching this movie its brilliant.What if actor Dennis Weaver had said no what actor could have done the role as good as the late Weaver.Here is my suggestions.2nd choice Martin Landau, 3rd choice Robert Culp, 4th choice Robert Conrad, 5th choice Robert Forster. Whats yours
