I love wearing skater type dresses but with being only 5ft 2. I only really where them when I'm going out. As I wear heels with them. I would like to wear them every day not just for going out but un sure what foot wear to wear with them that's going to make me look stumpy.
Im also going to buy a cropped denim jacket to wear with them.
I am 42 and just don't want to dress like an old lady. But still feel feminine.
Any advice pls.

You should try and keep straps away from your ankle if you can as it will cut your leg off/make them appear a lot shorter.
Nude shoes would work too, and might allow for ankle straps?
Edit to mention- I'm 5ft 4 and same issue/worry.
Also thought about ballet pumps as well.
Just don't want to look a stumpy frump lol
I just wear them with my vans or pumps or whatever pair of shoes I am closest to, never had a problem.
