im glad someone else can see it and sadly it is whats gunna happen
I've been worrying since 2009. She had success, but I saw others enter the industry at the same time and global success (Bruno, Adele, Gaga). She just needs to GO and stay there for about a year. Work her backside of promoting doing gigs and touring there and Canada. Then come to Europe and have a proper global launch for album 3. Sad. This should've all been done in September/October 2009. A mess.
Ugh all the producers on HOH are such a downgrade. How can she go from Red One and Stargate to Steve Mac and Cutfather.
Sorry but this doesn't make sense at all.
"Bad Boys", Alexandra's biggest and arguably best single (bar ANL) was produced by the Phantom Boyz who are almost unknown. Well known producers doesn't equal a hit.
I love SWY, but it was a Red One track and it really divided opinion.
Cutfather has a very impressive discography, and I think LIG is one of Alex's best singles.
All Night Long is Rico Love track, great to see that he's back this time round.
They should pick the best songs, not based on the producer.

Don't agree with you on most things but so true...
Known producers usually give their best work to bigger artists... Less known/upcoming producers are the better guess because they could produce a SMASH .... I prefer the producers she's working with this time around, although I would have liked maybe one Red One track but that isn't a huge concern.
@universetipping & co, you are right appealing for calm and getting people to not overreact, certainly the bullying bit is making me uncomfortable. But you guys need to be careful so you do not miss the point. The fact of the matter is, an artist's core fanbase (small or large) are an artists bread and butter - and right now, Alex's core fans are not happy; i know I am not anyway! It's one thing to say that Alex's management may be doing their best (behind the scenes) but we are not behind the scenes, that is not our job. In fact, in fact in my (short) professional career so far, I have handled marketing campaigns (when I was on a graduate scheme) and you don't jump into a campaign randomly. a campaign is based on a plan which includes what resources you have, opportunities you can capitalise on and promotional tools, etc...if those are not firmed up, you CANNOT launch a campaign...Alex's management have no excuse here because this just looks awful and poorly planned. Why go ahead with HOH with little promotional opportunity, this is someone who has been disadvantaged in the industry since she started (we forget she launched at the same time as lady gaga).
So I reserve my right as a fan to be mad as hell. I will still buy my multiple copies of LIG and HOH as per normal but if Alex does not make changes to her set-up, she can count one less fan!
Yes ofcourse you can be mad, but offending the girl and making fun of her looks is just wrong IMO
Ifd it'd be consturctive tweets, just to show we're not happy, but this is just Bullying and i don't agree with that as it happens to Alex too, but then it's not OK, but if it happens to her manager by "us" it is OK.. i mean what's up with that?
Wow get out the thread if you are gonna turn your back on Alex if things don't change...
Ye... I hate her management and label but it isn't Alex's fault at all - She has contracts, we don't know when contracts expire so if you're going to turn your back on her if she doesn't make changes then leave now.
I hate on her management and label but I'd never turn my back on her.
It has got to a point were the fans are expressing how they are feeling, it's there right to do it (I have) so can people stop causing arguments everyone in entitled to there own opinions and decisions! So Stop
the Management are a disgrace so I hope Alex drops them ASAP

Whether we like it or not Modest Management are some of the best connected in the industry. Where do you suggest she go?
Where is the evidence that they haven't been trying to get her higher profile appearances?
As I have stated before many times no management team can guarantee that a song will be play-listed, it's just not how the industry works. I would be surprised if they haven't been working their asses off. At the end of the day, more successful artist means more cash for them.
Of course everyone wants to blame somebody for the current situation, but if playlisters and tv executives don't like Alexandra or her music, there's not much management can do besides lobbying. It's sad but true.
I think it's perfectly legitimate for @fanfromholland to be concerned if people are going to tweet her nasty things.
It won't make one blind bit of difference and will just piss her off.
How do you know what work she's been doing?
Exaclty my thoughts, we don't know what's going on behind the scenes
Radio and TV need to want her on, her manager can't control them
Yes i dothink she lacks ability to manage Alex correctly, and yes you are allowed to express your anger, if it is in a normal way. Not just to make fun/bully her
Such a shame that Alex couldn't get a BGT slot...
Rebecca's Album was no1 on iTunes last night after her performance and her music isn't supported that well so it shows the power the programme has...
She's on Friday Download? Oh my. I laughed when Pixie Lott stooped this low when she appeared on it, now Alex?
I've never even heard of it but when I Wiki'd it they seem to have some high profile guests lined up (Justin Bieber/ Rihanna) so maybe it's not such a low blow...

You have no idea what's going on behind the scenes Patrick.
Grow up, sending harassing tweets to Alex's management isn't going to help anyone.

And neither do you, so we can deal with it in our own ways. None of us are exactly Simon Cowell.
*EDIT: Oh and by the way, none of my tweets were rude or harassing they were just raising my concerns for Alex's career.*
the Management are a disgrace so I hope Alex drops them ASAP
But bullying? Really?
Nobody is bullying. She's a grown woman I doubt she'll be in tears over a few of AB's fans telling her to get herself in order and fix her weave.
