I was thinking about what character Harry could have to do a great Rumba and my biggest hope is in the Waltz especially at the end when he sweeps Aliona into his arms and embraces her.
I agree:D I love their waltz, and I love the musicality of the way Harry moves his arms to embrace Aliona.
with the choice of song, it's got to be soft and romantic, but I think that will mean very slow fluid movements throughout the body. However, I dont see Harry having any problems with this, and Aliona will have been working on the hips. I'm not sure where Harry will be on the leaderboard, as rumba is notoriously difficult dance.
Olivej fancy Aliona being a blonde naturally, I wouldnt have guessed that. I adored watching the VW on DWTS, you were right it was absolutely superb, and to one of my favourite songs:D

William Hill are offering 2/1 on Harry getting a perfect 40 for his rumba
they obviously havent looked at the stats:eek:
mind you I'd love Harry to get a 40, but it must be impossible.
IMO 32-34 would be pretty outstanding.

I dont think he will get a perfect 40 for his rumba - its an extremely difficult dance for the male celebrity to pull off well
Harry has improved in leaps and bounds but he still excells in ballroom more than the latin - maybe rumba will be his latin dance but I dont expect the high scores that he got for his QS

I may have said it once or eleventy million times but I LOVED that rhumba so much, so beautiful. Aliona is stunning, Matt is gorgeous and such INTENSITY. Phwwwoaar! I'm not going to get my hopes up though, just in case there's a dee-zar-ster on Saturday as so often happens with the rhumba!
I'm now reaching that point of "obsession" with H&A and rewatching their dances obsessively like I did with M&A last year I'd rather not feel this way because I just became more and more agitated towards the end of the series.....

I've been catching up with the weekends events. Harry and Aliona's Quickstep was fantastic, the best dance of the series so far and fully deserving of the 10's. Just a shame Craig was so picky!!! :mad:
IMHO it was the first dance in this series that actually deserved the 10's it received.
I agree with the judges about the swing-a-thon. H&A had the best dance, completely in time with the music and what stamina to do all that straight after their Quickstep. Brilliant.
I'm glad they have the Rumba while there are still enough celebs left in the competition, but I hope they can pull off an equally fantastic Rumba. It is the hardest dance for male celebs so I think Harry may need our votes this week more than usual.

I actually don't mind that - if they're dressing as Robin Hood and Maid Marian in the VT, it's less likely that they'll be dancing dressed as them!!
