I have two all-time favourite movie villains and they are Darth Vader and Heath Ledger's portrayal of the Joker from The Dark Knight.
Who is YOUR favourite movie villain of all time?
Let me know. Thanks.

I'll think of some others!
He was exactly how I imagined him when I read the books and Ralph Fiennes did a great job in the role. Just the way he says Avada Kedavra is so chilling.
I've a lot of problems with the later Harry Potter films but Ralph Fiennes got it exactly right for me... the exact balance between being a monster and still maintaining some of that humanity in his performance. I think his best performance was his first one too in The Goblet of Fire, a shame as that's one of my least favourite films in the series.
As for other villains I'd note...
Maleficent - Angelina Jolie in Maleficent
The Witch - Meryl Streep in Into the Woods
Davy Jones - Bill Nighy in Pirates of the Caribbean 2 & 3
The Joker - Heath Ledger in The Dark Knight
The Phoenix - Famke Janssen in X-Men
John Ryder - The Hitcher
The Shark - Jaws
Thinking outside the box, good call!
Agreed. You could believe that he was the same Tom Riddle who appeared in The Chamber Of Secrets.
I also thought Freddy Krueger was effective.
This guy, Andy Robinson portrayed him perfectly, he was a nutter, and you could feel it. Scarier than any horror villain out there.
He got his just desserts in hellraiser, though, didnt he.
A few other villains.
