The existence of a previous golden age when everything was lovely and everyone knew their place and there was no crime (apart from the Kray twins who loved their mum and kept it within their own gang) and everyone's family was contented and morals were what the Church of England and the Tory Party said they were.

Everything would be fine if women stayed at home stories.
Men don't know their role in life anymore because a mythical woman once snapped at a man when he opened the door for her stories.
And the simplification of complex problems such as:
lone parents - dysfunctional children (as if one entirely caused the other)
crime = build more prisons

- Madiana conspiracy theories
- Feral youths take over the country stories
- Women: don't be too thin but don't be too fat, be perfect.

And all those stories about the good old days when you could insult other people at random, by using words such as p*of, w*g, p*ki etc, without anyone minding. After all, no harm was meant by it.
And, people saying that they are not homophobic, because homophobic means being scared of gay people, which they're not; they just don't think gay people should have the same rights as heterosexual people.

[Heavy irony] Because they're only words and you must be a sensitive little flower to object to being called a word. I call my best friend a p*ki p*of all the time and he loves it. You must be a member of the PC brigade you Guardian reading sandal wearing lentil eater (only words, only words, don't hit me). [/heavy irony]
