    Beetlejuice
    Ghost

Not one of the greatest at all but RIPD is about a ghost cop.

    I enjoyed The Frighteners most.

Otherwise, I found these rather interesting:

Astral City: a Spiritual Journey (a.k.a. Our Home: the Astral City) (2010)
    Between Two Worlds (1944)
The Invisible (2002) and its U.S. remake, The Invisible (2007)
Wonderful Life (a.k.a. After Life) (1997)
    Enter the Void (2009)
The Eye (2002) - do avoid the 2008 remake at all costs, though.
A Matter of Life and Death (a.k.a. Stairway to Heaven) (1946)
The Phantom Wagon (1939) - a French remake of a Swedish film, The Phantom Carriage (1921), which has to be seen to believe.

I'm still not sure whether to classify Kairo (Return Circuit or Loop Circuit) (2001) as a life after death film. I pretty much worship director Kiyoshi Kurosawa, but Kairo isn't one of his best. It's not that worth seeing, I suppose.

The only reincarnation film I can recall is the one with a little girl. Audrey? Edited: Audrey Rose (1977), starring Anthony Hopkins, Marsha Mason and good old John Beck.

'What Dreams May Come' (1998) had Robin Williams and Cuba Goodings Jr.

'The Rapture' (1991) deals with the afterlife, although it is notoriously controversial and (I think) didn't do much good for Mimi Rogers' career.

Blithe Spirit is a hoot. I love the fact that it's Noel Coward himself who narrates the opening lines.

Rex Harrison was, by all accounts, a vile human being. But he's quite marvellous in this movie.

I also concur with Blythe Spirit.

    Flatliners
A Matter of life and Death (1946)
    The Frighteners
    High Spirits
    Field of Dreams
    It's a Wonderful Life

And this one I'm going to put in spoiler tag as the life after death theme is the twist of it
    Dead End

Birth (Jonathan Glazer 2004) toys with possible reincarnation.

A bit of a curate's egg as films go, but still maybe Glazer's best so far. And Kidman is rather good in it too.

I'm a little surprised no one mentioned 'Always' (1989)

    Then there is 'Hereafter' (2010)
And perhaps movies like 'Meet Joe Black' (1998)
Or 'Carnival of Souls' (1962) ?
