Just wondering, when did Sky first start showing live test cricket from overseas not involving England?

    Just wondering, when did Sky first start showing live test cricket from overseas not involving England?

    They've just shown a whole series that barely involved England - I think they called it The Ashes or somesuch. :D

    West Indies v Australia in the spring on 1991. The Windies won the series 2-1, en route to England for the series there (which ended 2-2).

    Anyone know when Sky first showed Australia's home matches over Xmas (relaying Channel 9's coverage)?

    Excluding the Ashes.

    Winter 97/98. It was two three test series v New Zealand pre Christmas and South Africa over Christmas/New Year before the World Series Cup involving the three nations in January/February.
