If that dog meets a horrible, grisly end, I'll not be happy. The humans can get it, but not the dog
I wasn't a fan of the original series actually, but it's maybe something I would appreciate more now. It was about 10 years ago that I watched them. But this one actually looks pretty decent and fairly gory from the red band trailer. Might be worth a try.
If the trailer's anything to go by, it'll be a roller coaster, MTV generation, too loud music, too much gore type film. I know the Evil Dead should be gory but these horror remakes always seem to lose out on the atmosphere and creepiness of the originals which adds an awful lot to the horror. Hopefully they've just cranked things up for the trailer and the actual film will be scary.
Well with Bruce Campbell and Sam Raimi involved in this project, I am excited to see this "remake" as it looks very good. No humour and all about scares and gore... Can't wait!
Didn't think much of that, compared to the Saw series that looked pretty obvious in it's attempt to shock, the original was scary as **** and had some dark humour.
I did wonder why they were "remaking" it, and was not really that bothered, but the trailer looks great and I am really looking forward to seeing it now.....
The trailer looks really good. I'm not that sure that the film needs a remake, but at least it's being done by the people who did the original. I guess it's better to do a complete remake rather than doing what George Lucas kept doing to the original Star Wars trilogy and mess about with them all the time.
I've got to say, as a massive fan of the original trilogy, this looks like it might be pretty awesome! On the downside, i'll probably never be able to watch Jane Levy in Suburgatory in the same way again...

Could it be a sequel of sorts?
I love how it looks to be more horror then comedy like the original and be more serious.
I have feeling the Tree rape scene might be cut for the cinema, you know what people are like today.
Overal im looking forward to it.
