That LG looks awesome, I have one question though, how does PS3/Xbox360 games look, its a far wider screen than current gen consoles support, just curious how it displays.
I assume it would pillarbox the image so it's still 16:9 or have an option to stretch it out, but I agree, best stick to 16:9 as it's the industry standard, the 21:9 monitors are only for people who want to experience cinematic aspect ratio films in full screen, and even then to get the best out of it yopu'd need a PC as consoles/BD Players/etc, are outputting for 16:9 so the screen would have to do some stretching.

I'm using an AOC at the moment but looking for something bigger and 'better' and that LG looks perfect.
It looks absolutely fantastic. I use this on my consoles over my Asus monitors now.
Speakers ain't half bad too although I game mostly wearing a headset they still do a good job.
I bought this recently with PS4 in mind.
I would highly recommend ... Make sure you buy the "P" model tho.
I would recommend it yes... make sure the model you buy is the revised one which is LG29EA93-P ... The ones without 'P' are to be avoided due to high response times etc.

Like Ash_735 said, if your using a PS3 that only displays in 16:9 games will have a boarder or stretched. Which has put me off to a degree.
Lovely monitor though
thanks:)
i think ive fallen in love with lg
not sure if i should save up and get it or just get a cheaper one like the one you just recommend
Just so you are aware, it appears the 3D mode on that monitor is for PCs only, and probably will not work with PS3/PS4/3D Blu-ray players etc.
If 3D is important to you, the 3D-ready monitor/TV must have HDMI 1.4 input, which isn't mentioned in the details for the BenQ.

Looks great!!!
How much did it cost you?
What's it like for gaming on the 360?
It was around £420 from Amazon... Both 360 & PS3 look great.
its very expensive
you recommend it yeah
That looks strange, looking at the minimap position you are missing picture off the top, bottom and both sides.
Not at all... you can just adjust your safe area to suit in graphics settings

input lag is between 15ms - 20ms which is very good IMO and i cant imagine anyone would notice that.
isnt that worse
i was told input lag should be less than 5ms
