    There's 'teachers' then there's teachers, some people seem to get teaching jobs in various areas without ever going to a teachers training college.

    I heard him say on livefeed he has got a post graduate certificate in education. I read on here he was a lecturer.

    he said he worked at a college in a travel and tourism course.. before that he worked in mcdonalds. He has been unemployed for a few years now

    god I feel like such a loser for knowing all this.. too much life feed watching lol

    someone has now posted above he worked in travel and tourism, so sounds like a FE college.

    Ahem *just*????!!!!!

    3 years at University plus 2 years on an FE PGCE course which you have to do whilst teaching. May I also add that that the FE course is much more academically based than the secondary PGCE as it doesn't include the teaching practice element rather several units on theory and research.

    As someone who has just worked their backside off to achieve this I found your post astoundingly dismissive and offensive, I have to say.

    A PGCE isn't the same as a PHD. I have no idea if he has either though.
