Got mine on 17c. Been out all day and feels like a furnace inside....family tend not to agree though.

Not been home that long, and the apartment is still warm from having the oven on for dinner :D

I only put the heating on an hour before bed...I'm trying to stop my bills from being to high:(

Our thermostat is always set to 17 degrees.

And you do get used to it....we have no fire so house is at ambient temp throughout.

This is a very good tip?

Get the family to stand outside for about five or ten minutes with no coats on. Come back in house is warm as toast.:D

The problem with central heating is every year it seems to be on for longer or the thermostats get turned further up.

Thermostat says 18, but I'm wearing a T-shirt and I'm still too hot so I'm not convinced. I'm going to turn it down a bit I think. Anyone want me to keep up this monologue about my exciting evening?

Have a max min thermometer in an unused bedroom, which is cooler than rest of house.

    Presently 25°C
    Min 20°C

No wonder we have global warming, will have to wait till the wife's not looking and turn down the radiator stats.

Best get a heating engineer in to fix your thermostat :)

I'm around the 12 mark, could be less in the draughty areas. The heating has clicked off for the night so it will drop.

All you people with +ve temperatures, when I was a lad we had to scrape the ice of the inside of the windows it was that cold.

If you were lucky the dog would climb in next to you.
