Nokia 5800 Podcast Update Problem

I am having a problem using my Podcast Application that came installed on my Nokia 5800.

I have subscribed to BBC Postcasts (such as the Chris Moyles show) etc through the BBC Podcasting directory (http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/opml/bbc_podcast_opml.opml).

When i go to view the Podcasts, it says under each Podcast, 'Update required'. When i double-click these, it saying 'Updating...' then carrys on to say 'Update required'.

Why are these Postcasts not downloading/updating?

As coolmark18 explained, this is how I receive my updates. Currently subscribed to Chris Moyles's enhanced podcast, Rhod Gilbert and Jonathan Ross.

Yes it is prking. I can connect to the internet fine using the mobile, and i'm using the same connection setting for the podcast as the browser (Contract WAP).

Which network are you with? For some you will need the internet APN not the WAP APN.

Make sure your APN (Access Point Name) is set to internet with username and password, both set to web.

If the APN is set to wap.vodafone.co.uk then you will need to change it as describe above.

APN is internet
Username is web
Password is web

Have you tried updating connected to a Wi-Fi point rather than using your network just in case?

Does connection manager show any data being transferred? (or you can check the log)

Yes. It said it was sharing podcasts on the connection manager.

i would suggest deleting the podcast and add it again

I've also tried that, also I deleted the Podcast Directory, and then added it again. Still didn't resolve the problem.
