The Tina Turner song is called "The Best" not Simply the Best.

Green Day-Good Riddance, usually referred to by its subtitle Time of your Life.

The Logical Song-Supertramp 'When I Was Young'

I never seemed to hear the title said, although I often caught the title of 'Breakfast In America' so I knew that was the title even though the phrase 'Breakfast In America' isn't in the lyrics.

Everybody's Got To Learn Sometime-Korgis 'I Need Your Loving'

Even Baby D used 'I Need Your Loving' for the title of their cover.

How many people thought this song was called "Kernkraft 400"?

I must have been having a blonde moment when I removed part of the sentence, which then made it the exact opposite of what I meant it to say.

The Roy Orbison song is called 'Oh, Pretty Woman'.

    Most people omit the 'Oh'

It's the same with 'Oh, Babe, What Would You Say' by Hurricane Smith. I thought it was 'What Would You Say'.

A different take on the topic but I always sing "everything I own" because of the title of the Ken Boothe song but he actually sing "anything I own".

A lot of people still think Panic by the Smiths is called Hang the DJ

I used to think Against All Odds by Phil Collins was called Take A Look at Me Now

A bit of both, the full title
"Against All Odds (Take a Look at Me Now)"

Always thought that Bonnie Tyler song was titled 'Hero' but I think it's actually 'Holding out for a hero'.

Not me, given that you can hear "zombie nation" being said throughout the song.

Zombie Nation is actually the artist. I used to think the chart lists had got it the wrong way round.

Can you blame them? Some titles are needlessly longer than they need to be, like "Reach Out, I'll Be There", I always thought it was just "I'll Be There"

I used to think You Give Love A Bad Name by Bon Jovi was called Shock To The Heart (which I thought was the opening line!). Only realised about 6-7 years ago that I'd not only been singing the wrong words all these years but got the name of the song wrong :D

I had an argument with someone over the Oasis song "Live Forever" because they thought it was called "Maybe", which is only the first word of the song.

There is a song from the musical Evita, which features the line "She's a diamond". However the song is actually called "She Is A Diamond".

I originally thought that the 1980 Jam tune, "Start", was called "What You Give Is What You Get"
