Made a roasted butternut squash soup for lunch. Washed visiting teenage son's laundry, it dried beautifully in the sunshine, and got it ironed. Cleaned the windows outside, made a chicken stir fry for our tea, and I'm now sat with my feet up using my laptop. Nice glass of merlot and eight squares of Cadbury's Whole Nut going down nicely

Poured some Archers, Russian Standard, Grenadine and Innocent Juice into a big ice filled jug and drank it whilst applying for three admin related jobs with some great Prog Rock blasting out in the background. Now playing online cribbage whilst having a crafty web surf and kind of half watching some of my Studio Ghibli films. Thinking of walking to Tesco in a bit to purchase a pie. What a life.
Now that sounds like a great way to pass the day. I'd pass on the Tesco though.

Took the aged P out to a beautiful spot where we had tea and scones sitting on a bench overlooking the sea. Went for a walk.
Went for the usual drive following instructions that are based on my Mother's memory as a child, so it was er..not straightforward, but fun.
Took her home.
Went to Aldi did a massive shop and then all the putting away.
Told the child she's to make dinner. She is eating Doritos and doesn't look like moving soon.
and now I'm cooking dinner for my dad and brother
