I made these tonight, they are for my friend to take in to work in the morning to share with her colleagues. They are my own design:
Raspberry cakes with jam in the middle, raspberry and red sugar on top of buttercream. Chocolate cakes with choc spread in the middle, and cocoa powder and Flake on top of buttercream.
My food doesn't look as fancy as what I see here though! Especially that chicken, YUM. I have a few pics of past things I made that I took on my phone. And I'll try hard to make my dinners look more presentable!
I love looking at this thread and I like to contribute but by the time my lot have demolished the food I've made recently I haven't any pictures to add, will try and hold them off tonight
All the food posted looks so gorgeous, how do you cook your steak Degs?

Preheat the oven to 180/200
Salt & pepper the steak.
Heat a cast iron pan until it is spanking hot.
Add a teaspoon of dripping or oil to the pan.
Fry steak for one minute. Turn over and put in the oven for a couple of minutes.
Leave to rest for a couple of minutes.
Degs that looks sooo yummy! Steak is one of my favourite foods. Where are the rest of the chips though?
The cake turned out a bit dry
If you read my thread about my disaster with Carnation milk ( "Caramel sauce made with Carnation"),you'll see what happened with THAT !

A slight variation on the previous designs, I have named these 'Raspberry Ripple' - vanilla cake with raspberry jam inside, vanilla buttercream topped with berry sauce (Sainsbury's Finest, I can't be faffing around making raspberry sauce!), a fresh raspberry and a mini Flake cut to size. I am taking these to a sick friend this afternoon:

Absolutely loving the look of these! I wish I could make cupcakes...I might do one of those 3 hour lessons or something.
OK, here's my first entry in this thread. My camera work isn't great, but here goes...
Spinach and Ricotta pie.
Made with spinach from my veg garden. Only 189 calories per portion so it's good for dieters too! Pastry was nice and crisp and not slimy like I thought it may come out.

You don't need to pay for lessons! I just used basic Victoria sponge mix, got a few inspirations for designs online, and added a couple of twists, and then bob's your uncle. Honestly I think anyone can do cakes.
Even with things like piped icing techniques (which I have yet to learn), I intend to get tips from YouTube videos.
I am trying to decide the flavour and design of the next batch of cakes.
Your food looks great, you must be very slim with those tiny portions
Haha, do you know, taking pictures of my food has kind of "shamed" me into plating up smaller portions than I normally would (which is for the good!). We should cash in on a new diet here, lads. And for the chermoula, I had another half a flatbread with chicken, but I was waiting for the bread to brown so I just took the photo early. Trickery!

I'll be making this tomorrow: chermoula chicken with homemade bread, coconut rice, salsa and extra chermoula sauce
Easter Sunday Dinner: pork shoulder, mash, roasties, roast carrot and buttered leeks.
Garlic and parsley hearthbreads, courtesy of How To Be A Domestic Goddess.
And honestly, I'm more about the sweet than the savoury, so..
Chocolate macaron.
Coffee and walnut cake.
Swedish cinnamon buns (kanelbullar)

Just out the oven.
Inside.
That looks great Lauren, does anything else go into the filling with the spinach and ricotta?
Ah a delicious Spanakotiropita! I made that the day before yesterday.
Spring onions usually. Sometimes yoghurt. An egg to bind it up.
I use crumbled feta and halloumi.
It is very easy to make although it looks difficult with the stylish filo pastry.
I put in diced onions and garlic (once cooked until soft) and feta and egg and then season the whole thing.
I was going to use the Greek name, but thought it best to call it it's English name! I love the individual ones they normally do in a meze in Greece.
Had for dinner with pickled ginger & soy sauce

Not a fan of raw fish BUT it looks like the real thing - good stuff Missy Fantastic, they look fantastic
Sunday: Dopiaza and rice
My first attempt at bagels, on Sunday evening.
Monday: Turkish-style mince flatbread.
Tuesday: Chicken chermoula, homemade bread and salad.
Wednesday: Hoisin pork, egg fried rice and Asian peanut 'coleslaw.'
Tonight: chicken lasagne, potato salad and curly fries. Carb overload, hah!
Mint chocolate mousse for dessert.
