What are people's opinions on bar snacks and catering at parties? Do you pile in first to avoid food potentially contaminated by unwashed hands??

Not using the toilet after doing a no2 is just disgusting. It makes you wonder how hygienic these people are in other areas of their body as well

I dread to think what they're using to do number 2s if it's not the toilet.

I never touch any shared snacks in a pub!

I would never touch bowls of nuts etc - buffets are a bit of a worry as you don't know how many dirty hands have touched what you're about to eat.

People who prepare food have a duty to wash their hands thoroughly and wear disposable gloves when handling food they then pass to you in food stores etc.

Look how the Norovirus has spread this winter - it's because everyone is in big crowds shopping and visiting hospitals and spreading it around.

Judging from the behaviour in my local, less than 50% of men wash their hands after going to the pub toilet.

No wonder there is so much illness around at this time of year.

If I have to use a public toilet I really make sure I use my hand gel after I leave as what's the point of only using the sink when someone else has not then touched the door to get out

I always do but apparently the handles to toilet doors have more bacteria.

thats why i just gel my hands after leaving the toilets if they are public toilets as i always carry antibac gel in my handbag, at home i wash my hands afte the toilet, before i prepare food, after changing a nappy.

As a care assistant i used to wash my hands every 5 mins or gel them, my hands are in a terrible state because of this:D

I can't believe that some people don't. If at a shopping centre toilet, I'm busy washing my hands and you see some women leave the cubicle and walk out without washing. It makes me shake my head in disbelief. But what I hate is women who leave pee on the toilet seat. For goodness sake, clean up after yourself!

I have never once had a poo at work. I can only poo at home or close friends houses (I'm we're staying over obv)

Also, I always sit on my hands when I'm on the pan lol, hate my bum on the seat.

    How peculiar.

& before anyone asks, yes I do check the toilet paper after wiping, how else can you tell if you're clean? Use wet wipes anyway.

What would you do if you were sent to prison?

Hardly ever. I'm not fussy about anything hygiene or cleanliness wise.

I'm old and haven't been bothered by associated diseases, neither have my family, friends or anyone else whose been brave enough to venture into my filth pile home for a brew and a snack!

And yes, there have been many.

The only place I'm worried and careful is in hospital.

I turn the taps off with the base of my hand near my wrist so they stay clean.

no amount of washing your hands is going to stop the germans

modern toilets when flushed spread all your germs all around the room,....covering your entire body.....maybe you should shower after each visit or you are also disgusting....with cleaner hands

Which is why you close the lid of the toilet before flushing. It's really not that hard?

I don't get this whole "There is no point in cleaning them as they are just going to get dirty again!!" attitude which people on here have.
