After Alan Partridge, I consider 'Abs' to be the finest comedy creation ever.

His commitment to the character is amazing. He never stops playing the part.

    Jamaica surely

I have never heard of him before. Seems a likable chap, but I bet the nearest he has been to Jamaica is to eat Levi Root's jerk chicken!!

Fake accent...talking like one of those British idiots who think they are from the Caribbean but have never been there....and it shows as they get the accent SO wrong....

Abz and his original accent. You hear him speak first at about 1:39 if you don't want to endure it all :)

He's actually a really nice guy. Ignore the accent and judge him as a person. :)

I remember hearing that he went to live in Jamaica for a couple of months and came back with his new accent.

But he's stuck with it for over a decade to be fair, he probably doesn't have to think about it anymore.

We must make sure these kinds of stupid accents don't catch on. We must ridicule them at every opportunity.. otherwise in 50 years that could be how everyone sounds.

From London, I think. But he lives in the country now and runs/owns a farm.

I used to love him when I was younger and when he was in 5ive. His accent is odd and I always thought it must be put on, but it's funny.

Always love Alan Carr on his Chatty Man show saying he must be "growing and smoking da herb" on his farm :D
