Help me out please? It's for a college project.

I'm doing a college project on alternative living and I need to gather research and ask questions. Do you know anyone who lives alternatively? Or do you, yourself live alternatively? For example, houseboats, treehouses, huts, fairgrounds/circuses etc.

If anyone could let me know if there is any good websites or any people I can contact (preferably email) then I would be very much obliged.

There's a forum called Ukhippy.com seems to be fairly busy, and has a section on nomadic living, maybe try there?

My sister's been couchsurfing through mexico for about 9 months, I guess most people would call that 'alternative living', not having a base, sometimes living with a group of about 12 at time, then finding yourself shacking up with a middle-class family of 4, you could try your luck at the couchsurfing website, 99% of the users are incredibly friendly
