Glaxy S4 stuck in "recovery boot mode" screen

Hi there, I have a problem with my friends phone, it is stuck in recovery mode and comes up with a strange screen.

I have tried "press volume up + home + power button for 10 seconds." as it says on the internet to reset it but it does not seem to work.,

Here is an uploaded picture of the boot screen it shows.,

    Do you have a CM installer from Windows desktop? So while your phone is in recovery mode, connect your USB cable from PC to your phone. It should update, download, install then boot your phone. If you have an SD card, backup your files there. Once your phone has completed the backup, go back and wipe data/factory reset. Wipe the cache partition. Reboot the phone.

    Re-install Cyanogenmod. Put your phone back in recovery mode Choose Advance Restore from the backup/restore option. Then select Yes - Restore. You can restore your cche and data if you want.
