How did your overall top 10 do?

So now the dust is finally beginning to settle on Eurovision 2015, how did your overall top 10 of the 40 songs fare?

Here's how my mine broke down (in some cases literally!) -

1. Georgia (11th)
2. Spain (21st)
3. Lithuania (18th)
4. Israel (9th)
5. Serbia (10th)
6. Russia (2nd)
7. Albania (17th)
[highlight]8. Iceland (DNQ)[/highlight]
9. Slovenia (14th)
[highlight]10. Malta (DNQ)[/highlight]

Not too bad, makes a nice change to the usual sea of red.

12 - Albania - 17th (we should be planning Tirana 2016 right now

I didn't have a top 10 before the Grand Final so I have a slight advantage here, but even before the semi finals I predicted a three-horse race among Italy, Sweden and Russia, and that the UK would languish at the bottom of the board. Thanks Ireland.

I also had Belgium,
Norway,
Lithuania (off the mark here),
Spain (way off the mark here),
Austria (how rude not to give the hosts any points?!),
Australia (good singing and novelty factor)
and Latvia (amazing singing and positioned in an optimum place to have "friendly votes").

Not bad actually , all mostly on left side. I liked the UK song but it was never my favorite. German and Poland were pretty much last on my list.

I haven't updated my top 10 for a while so actually I don't think this is what my top 10 would have been last night, but can't be bothered to change it right now, soooo...

12 - Australia - 5th, pretty happy
10 - Norway - 8th, thank you juries!
8 - Lithuania - 18th

7 - Germany - 0 points, a travesty
6 - Austria - 0 points, another travesty
5 - Estonia - 7th

4 - Slovenia - 14th, they deserved so much better
3 - Ireland - DNQ
2 - Belgium - 4th, yay!
1 - Montenegro - 13th

5 in the Top 10 happy with that

Lithuania is my fave song of the contest but it didn't quite work live and in slot 7.

So all in all, a good night for me last night. I was surprised Azebaijan wasn't higher and it was disappointing Maria's poor vocal didn't win Iceland the scores it deserved to qualify. Ditto Albania in the final, Elhaida let down a terrific song.

Spain's placing is a total mystery to me, Amanecer deserved much, MUCH higher!

I had Denmark and Portugal in my previous top 10 before the SFs began but it's changed considerably since then esp based on performances:

1) Sweden (1st - yay

2) Latvia (6th) - so happy Aminata did so well, she deserved it!

3) Lithuania (18th) - only result I was really gutted for, the song was just the most endearing song I've ever listened to - it's so sweet.

4) Norway (8th)
5) Germany (26th)
6) Estonia (7th)
7) Slovenia (14th)
8) Georgia (11th)
9) Italy (3rd)
10) Armenia (16th)

So 5 in the top 10 which is decent!

And all my favs did end up qualifying.
