New season has begun, what you going to keep watching or drop

Well new season, some disappointments

Returning favourites have been great modern family big bang theory chuck , dexter, family guy etc, new shows I'm sticking with I would have to say the chase, the event and the defenders

New comedies have been really poor, mike and Molly, ?!?! My dad says, running Wilde, raising hope, was really hoping for a new stand out comedy but it doesn't look like it will be this year

What you keeping and dropping?

will stick with the CW shows like vampire diaries, supernatural, smallville, hellcats

not really looking to drop anything as ive kept my US pace schedule quite concise although finding it a chore to watch true blood season 2 at the moment on my sky planner

Quite enjoyed Mike and Molly, Detroit 187 was pretty good too.

Quite liked MIke & Molly in a cheesy way, but I wonder if you can sustain a series on fat jokes alone. Shit my dad says and Raising Hope show promise, IMO.

Can't see Running Wilde lasting very long. The whole thing was just far too quirky, and not funny enough. I laughed at the girl eating the pot-plant in the party, but that was about it.

I think the best recent US comedy actually came out on MTV during the summer: "Warren the Ape" had some brilliant episodes; the one where he 'kidnapped' the schoolkids, and the 'rock opera' episode, for example.

Of the new shows I think I'll be sticking with Nikita (better than I expected) and Boardwalk Empire. I suspect I'll drop The Event after a few episodes unless it improves dramatically.

Returning series: I'll be sticking with Dexter, Stargate Universe and Fringe. I'll almost certainly drop V (first season was poor so if it's more of the same I'll ditch it) and maybe Caprica.

Thanks for reminding me of V and Caprica, I'll be sticking with both of them

I'm going to watch another episode or two of Mike and Molly and Shit My Dad Says before I decide whether to stick with them or not.

Debating whether or not to pick up The Big Bang Theory again...I gave up halfway through last season.

Also waiting for White Collar, Warehouse 13 and Psych to come back.

    Keeping:
    Desperate Housewives
    Family Guy
    Dexter
    Brothers & Sisters
    How I Met Your Mother
    Chuck
    Weeds
    Modern Family
    Criminal Minds
    Cougar Town
    The Vampire Diaries

    Adding:
    The Big C
    The Event
    Hawaii Five-0
    Raising Hope

I added Nikita but have now lost it after 3 eps, might pick it up again later. And as much as it pains me, unless it improves in the next 4-5 eps, I'll be dropping Supernatural and pretending it ended at season 5.

The newest episode was hilarious. Most I've ever laughed at it I think

I'll be watching Sons Of Anarchy, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Parenthood and The Office at US pace. Will look at The Event and also want to see how V is when it starts on Freeview.

    Keeping:

    Fringe
    House
    Glee
V (hoping season 2 redeems itself because most of S1 was below average)
Supernatural (I still need to watch S5 before starting on 6)

    Adding:

Bones (started watching S1 last night and I like it)
    True Blood
    The Event
Undercovers (probably wont last too long, though)

I'll also get around to watching Dexter from the beginning as well.

    For the winter season retaining:
    Castle
    House
    Dexter
Chuck (though only a few episodes left over here)
    Caprica
    Burn Notice
    True Blood

    Adding:
Spooks (first time watching because of Sophia Myles)
    Nikita
Better Off Ted (why they cancelled it I'll never know)

Not too sure about the rest - play it by ear.

Bones doesn't start til January so will wait till then to free time for other programmes. Not too sure when the Big Bang Theory starts over here.

    I've had a rethink.

    Keeping:
    Sons Of Anarchy (favourite show),
    Parenthood
    The Office
    Mad Men

Haven't seen yet but planning to:
    The Event
    V (series 1)
    The Walking Dead
    Eastbound and Down (series 1)
    Spartacus: Blood & Sand

    Unsure about:
    - True Blood. I'm struggling to get into it on Channel 4. I hear season 2 isn't so good so If Walking Dead is good I'll swap the vampires for zombies !
    - Merlin. It's a bit of fun but better shows demand my attention.

Tempted to watch if I have time:
    Fringe
    Parks and Recreation

    Evaluating:

    The Event
    Nikita
    Blue Bloods
    Detroit 187
    Mike and Molly
