I didn't see the beginning of this but I'm wondering why the heck people go to A&E with non-life-threatening ailments?
I thought that but having said that she has probably tried to get a GP appointment to seek some reassurance and drops but got told there wasn't an available appointment for another week!

I'm wondering why they even made it onto the program tbh
Yes. I'm sure (as much as I like this programme) it encourages some people to go to A&E rather than seek alternatives. If they showed these people to be ridiculous, it might put some of them off and the A&E teams could use their time focusing on those who really need it.
i'm wondering if the producers ask them to talk about their relatives in the past tense, so it gives a bit more drama to the program,, every week i sit thinking i hope they havent died, because its sounds like they have with the way they speak about them

Yes, they probably like the 'drama' of going to A&E and going to see the GP or pharmacist is a bit too mundane for them.
Fair point.
