Whats the worst thing you've ever come across on the internet?

When I was in halls two years ago my flat mate sent me a link to a video by saying 'oh my god you have to see this!!' so me being silly i clicked on the link and thought, ok so its a CCTV video of a man being interviewed by the police.... then the police leave the room for a second, the guy pulls a gun out of his trousers and shoots himself in the head. I screamed the whole halls of residence down.
It was so disturbing i couldnt get the image out of my head for about 2 weeks afterwards.
Has anyone seen some freaky stuff like this? I saw a Dispatches documentary on Jihadi TV, and it mentioned the beheading videos... althought i would never watch one (i don't think i could stomach it) i am still a little curious about them.
Anyone else have anything to share??

haha ive seen that! its just some guy who can open his a-hole wide enough to fit a 2litre bottle of coke up there! its gross but i wouldnt say its disturbing... well, maybe a little. lol

It's a Flickr group of photographs of people's faces when they see Goatse for the first time. Very funny, and safe for work.
One case was traced back to a woman in China that did it for the money. But I don't think she got her just desserts.

Same here... I've never ventured onto the site itself but someone from work once saw fit to send me a pic from it where it showed the remains of someone who had just been hit by a train. Why oh why they ever thought I would find that remotely amusing is still a mystery to me.
Oh according to wikipeda, the Nick Berg beheading video has been downloading 15 MILLION times from one website alone. 15 MILLION!!!! Thats like just under a quarter of the population of the UK having seen it. :S worrying.
did you actively seek it out or did you click on something without knowing?
That picture was a guy who bit a blasting cap. They were at a party and they tried to rig it to explode with batteries but it wouldn't blow, he took the cap and bit it, resulting in him losing most of the soft tissue of his face, nose, teeth, front of the jaws etc

Anyway, it has a sicko's section which is a collection of stuff like this that you find on the net.
The worst thing I saw on there was the driver of a small car after he'd just crashed into a semi truck.
It was not nice I can tell you.

Agree with you. I clicked on a link on a well-known pop stars site and it was the beheading of Ken Bigley :eek:
Obviously I clicked straight off it and the link got deleted by the moderators farily quickly but it was horrible to think that these things can be posted.
Well not really as it's Wikipedia. Anybody can put whatever they want on there and people believe it.
Whilst I'm not being pro about the site but rotten.com has been going on for years. Certainly been kicking around since I've been on the net back in 1999.
