I love all Musicals but the greatest of all time is 'Phantom'. I can't get through a day without listening to one of the songs from that show.

When you have seen this show on stage, anything you've ever seen before, or will ever see again pales to insignificance.

    :)

Rocky Horror Picture Show - easily one of the best. It's so weird but hilarious at the same time.

Other faves include Cats, Moulin Rouge and Hello Dolly. But I'm a big fan of musicals in general.

How long is a post allowed to be:)?

    I LOVE musicals!

My favourite is a modern one, however.

    "Chess".

"My Fair Lady" is easily number two.

From then on, bring'em on! I'll watch them and listen to them over and over again if you let me!

TCM is a good channel Sunday afternoon:D

It was certainly a very pleasant surprise for me, I expected to hate it, but that and Strictly Ballroom are the only two modern musicals that I like.

My Mum loves musicals, and when i was younger i used to watch them all the time with her :D it's had a lasting effect on me.

I have to say though, that my favourite modern Musical is Hairspray. That was just amazing :D

Mamma Mia is brilliant, when we went to see it in West End we were only about 4 rows from the front and loved the singing and dancing. Also kind of like the sentimental value of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, I thought that one of the kids was going to fall out of the car when i saw it on stage start spinning around.

I love musicals, I still remember going to see Starlight Express in London when I was 11, loved them since then.

Sweeney Todd the musical - the stage version which toured in 2006 with Harriet Thorpe and Jason Donovan in lead roles - not the current film version where Helena Bonham Carter MURDERS her songs!

Jerry Springer The Opera - the stage version with David Soul - the tickets were a fortune but well worth it!

The Rocky Horror Show - saw it with various Rocky's - and the best ever Riff Raff (spelling?) was Georgie Hayes!

All mine are stage versions because I love theatre.
