The lake in Queen Mary Gardens in Regents Park

It's just the most beautiful place, especially when the sun is shining........the lake, weeping willows, a waterfall, reed beds, ducks, fragrant shrubs and bushes, roses, two bridges, an island.

I sometimes go really early in the morning before people start appearing......:D
I was going to say Regents Park. :) It is just the most wonderful place imo, from the lakeside to the zoo boundaries, where you can often get a free peek at some giraffes and antelopes. And the Honest Sausage is rather a favourite, though not with my vegetarian children.
Science Museum - first meeting with Mr de Baume there!

All three of the South Kensington museums are great, though all of them get monstrously crowded at weekends. Special mention for the Materials gallery at the Science Museum which is just one amazing exhibit after another.
