Hi all ,

I am looking for a nice dress for the festive period which is at least to the knee and something that suits curves . Simple you may think but I am a bit big boob wise :o:D and find a lot of dresses that are meant to show a bit actually show too much cleavage , the thing is also I hate things too high to the neck so looking for something that is not low low but not high enough it touches my chin !

I have looked online but with Christmas approaching I feel like I am attached to searching gifts and dresses so this is my SOS call
Anyone spotted anything nice ?

Thanks :kitty:

I have this problem sometimes too, I usually get around it by wearing a vest top underneath the dress (in a complimenting colour, obviously!) so that I'm not spilling out all over the place!! Could be an idea?

I've started going for scoop necklines rather than v-shape too, a little more secure without being frumpy :)

Collectif dresses are good for the busty.

I am really big busted also and dislike showing too much cleavage as it can look tarty. I found this dress and it looked good on as it has a fishtail cut and I know you said you wanted something that didn't show as much cleavage but I don't like round necks and find v-necks do give the illusion of a slightly smaller boob and it balances me out on top:

They also do it in a shorter length:

Both are really nice on and really flatter an hour glass shape. I can discreetly pin a small safety pin on the inside of the v-neck too so it just helps hide a bit more cleavage but still has enough on show to look good (not tarty and cheap)

Also, check out celeb boutique. Dresses are amazing and really suit curves / hour glass shapes

Perhaps try a dress with a scoop neck that isn't too low. I can't post a link right now but I'll try and come back tomorrow to give an example. I have just ordered one you see, though it isn't a really dressy number - just a plain dress you can dress up. I have however seen others which are dressier so I'll come back to this thread!

I have relatively big boobs though they're not enormous, so I know what you mean. I often find v-shaped necks the worst and I dislike high necks which can make boobs look huge in a different way, or they can look frumpy.

Ok, so not that I am advocating this dress because I actually don't like the colours and pattern, but purely for the neck line what about something like this:

    http://www.boohoo.com/day-dresses/phoebe-leopard-bodycon-dress/invt/azz40702

    Or this:
    http://www.boohoo.com/going-out-dresses/tina-sequin-panel-v-back-bodycon-dress/invt/azz42885

So the neck line isn't high but it also isn't a deep V - I suppose it's called a scoop neck or something though they're often not a deep scoop. There are loads of dresses with variations on these neck lines.

Alternatively you can get V necks which aren't too deep - e.g. http://www.boohoo.com/new-in/faye-animal-jacquard-v-neck-bodycon-dress/invt/azz36844

Sorry I've just used Boohoo as I know they have a lot of dresses so I knew I'd be able to find an example! I was purely looking for necklines rather than recommending the dresses themselves. There are probably some other variations you can find - I only looked at the first two pages.

Go to Navabi.co.UK and find the kiyonna dress with sweetheart neckline. I have it and it is perfect and so flattering.

Have a look at Phase Eights web site.
They have some nice frocks this season.
I am a size 10 waist and hips as a rule but size 14 bust, I manage to carry off their size 12 dresses ok.
