I'm going to record this and watch it over Xmas. It looks promising.

I wonder why they didn't schedule this for nearer Xmas ?

It's only just started. Give it a chance.

What was that thing that bounced down the stairs?

Did he say he was 80 odd? He looks a bit young for playing an 80 odd year old. A lot of the cast from Trollied in this.

Michael Palin is 71 in real life...

I'm doing a who's who of the cast... and I'm already finding it creepy. Psychological thrillers always get me...

This is an unintentional comedy rather than a scary drama. It's like Royston Vasey .

    Thank you too. :)

I'm finding the music very atmospheric.

It's a bit silly casting him as an 80 odd year old. They should have greyed him up a bit.

Ghost stories aren't renowned for being pacy, fast moving thrillers.

Ooh, I've read what Alison Graham in the Radio Times has said about this drama - and I'm on high alert just in case. I'll most likely still jump out of my skin at some point though. Can't help myself. :p

What did she say about it?

    Here's a little snippet:
Alison Graham: 'Gwyneth Hughes's three-part ghost story is packed with delicious thumps and shocks. Even as you tell yourself, in the most blasé manner, "Well, of course, I know exactly what's going to happen", you'll be caught by a tweak of terror. I was, and I'm not ashamed.
Watch with the lights off, then turn ON the lights as you go to bed. Oh, and check that your taps aren't dripping - you will soon find out why...'

How did the window get knocked outwards without damaging the brickwork as the frame was recessed on the inside? It would need to be pulled inwards, broken then thrown out.

Why doesn't anyone ever listen to the warnings people give to others in ghost stories? Don't touch anything and what does she do? Curiosity will kill that cat. And why hang around with the creepy suitcase???!
