I never get a sore wrist, but hate trying to clean in between the keyboard keys later.

It can move with your hand, and is incredibly comfortable...get one before you wreck yourself!
edit: "oh it's too expensive". Don't cheap out, this thing is superior to those gel rests, been there, done that :P
at a pinch use some foam in a sock or something, but that callus is serious, you are injuring yourself.
