The co-producer on Family Guy - Cherry Chevapravatdumrong.

And you think November's a weird surname? :D

The new (to BBC Three) episode of Family Guy, last night, made reference to this. One of the characters said her name was really Chevapravatdumrong, but she'd changed it because that name wouldn't work in TV.

Edit: ...and I also recall reading that CC sometimes uses a shortened version for some work. So it may be partially true.

Not sure if its been mentioned because I've not read back yet but a lot of the Disney Pixar movies (Wall E and The Incredibles) credit a Nigel Hardwidge which always elicits dirty giggles from the teenagers in this house :p

    A few more Brits:

    Fenella Fudge (the 'other' Fenella)
    Gay Search
    Laverne Antrobus

Although I think the Yanks have the monopoly on silly names:

    Gates McFadden
    Lark Voorhees
    Nana Visitor
    Black-Eyed Susan
    Omri Katz
    CCH Pounder
    Swoosie Kurtz
    Soleil Moon Frye
    Countess Vaughn
    Summer Glau
    Dack Rambo
    Rumer Willis
    Rip Torn
    Twink Caplan

And some sports figures whose names have always made me smile:

    Nungnadda Wannasuk
    Waldo Ponce
    Mardy Fish

They look a hell of a lot like SPAM names

Look at your Yahoo incoming emails...you almost certainly will have received one from:

"Twink Caplan" on the subject of "Increase the size of your manhood".

Spam names are easily made up..."Eden Kepaz" or "Jacy Watpolt" two quickly made-up examples. The funny thing is that they always sound American.

Same here, always wondered who he/she was, and would always look at the end credits of bbc comedies to see if Mykola would appear as 'videotape editor'!!

Mykola Pawluk was, and indeed still is, one of the most prolific editors of comedy tv in the UK. He's also co-founder of Independent Post, a sucessful agency representing the cream of the UK's post-production talent.

I don't know if Bruce Boxleitner had to do other jobs before he broke through as an actor, but it would have been a confidence sapping name for someone working in a logistics warehouse.
