I will stick with it but the fact it is so dark, both literally as well as metaphorically is putting me off quite a lot. No wonder there aren't many tourists. What a bleak place, it reminds me of Wuthering Heights.
Maybe they want us to think that Mark is a bent copper. It could be that woman copper that Robert met at the truck stop. I'm not sure what the relationship is between Mark and Katy. Maybe they used to be lovers.
I'm always like that. I decided to make a concerted effort to memorise names part way through last night. I got as far as remembering 3 and now I can only remember Robert. I remember Mark's name 'cos someone mentioned him in a comment which I replied to.
I just watched episode 2.. It`s so frustrating. It could be a great series but so many "Really" moments.
When Robert was taking the father to the safe house.. not only was there no police escort.. but when Robert realised he was being followed and then lost him.. I can not believe he didn`t ring his police friends and tell them the murderer they`re looking for is probably behind him.
Also the female detective went back to the house to get clothes and went inside alone without uniform checking the house... which beardy can visit when he feels like it without showing signs of break-in, even with the the police are outside..
What next.. a giant red flashing arrow tied to an air balloon saying "The family are here"
I enjoyed the latest episode although I really didn't understand the withheld evidence part of it. Would Mark really threaten the validity of the entire case against Eddie just to protect Robert, it was easy explained anyway as he was able to do when Katy saw it. Then we are supposed to believe that the police woman suddenly felt guilty about it, but why would she, the right man was caught and the evidence would have had no bearing on the conviction, why after all this time would she suddenly feel guilty
I also don't really understand how the withheld evidence is relevant anyway, if it had been disclosed it would have been no use to the defence whatsoever. Surely there would only be an issue if the evidence withheld put the original conviction in doubt, which it doesn't??
Did i miss something? He didn't seem to be armed - I don't think the police get to headshot unarmed people ? (leaving aside they don't aim for headshots...)

Mark wants to be Katy's lover or more if he could get Robert out of the picture.
We don't know yet if Mark was involved in Susan's murder but suspect he was. If so it wasn't to keep K + R together.
Can't answer your last point really but I'm thinking he's Joe's dad.
This series has panned out to be rather good! Thought it was slow to start with but its gradually picked up the pace as the weeks have gone by.
Looking forward to seeing the final ep next week
Same here

Me too. Who's Katy?
Durr.
It's all too convoluted. Everybody seems to have a hidden agenda and it's very annoying.

The giant red flashing arrow tied to an air balloon saying "The family are here" appears in episode 3.

It is sooo slow. I'm sure they could have done it over two episodes and it would have been better.
I will stick with it as I do like Christopher Eccleston but I'm not blown away by it.
Because he is playing a prison officer and the majority of them have tattoos.
Went all over me.... Ha
Mark is evil though and he gave the order.
