But I think it needed some change to be a successful reboot and appeal to modern audiences. It needed to feel fresh and it did.

I know what you mean. I was always quite surprised that Russell T. Davies decided to make The Doctor the last of the time lords (or so The Doctor thought). I had heard a rumour that The Master will appear in the new series, although it could only be a rumour.

Ok here's a big bone trolls, come and get it:
WAAAAAAAA! I'm bored! WAAAAAAAA! I want to throw my toys out! WAAAAAAAA! Doctor Who is doomed! WAAAAAAAA! X-Factor is doomed! WAAAAAAAA! TV programming is doomed! WAAAAAAAA! Not 1989! WAAAAAAAA! Pointless statistics "proving" my argument! WAAAAAAAA! I want attention! WAAAAAAAA! Capaldi is horrible! WAAAAAAAA! Capaldi is great WAAAAAAAA! Moffat must go! WAAAAAAAA! Moffat is the best thing since sliced bread! WAAAAAAAA! This! WAAAAAAAA! That!

Sorry that's all I'm hearing on this thread, hysterical toy throwing from trolls and those who find it amusing feeding the trolls.
