I just think it's unusual in this day and age not to have a freezer.
I think I'd rather be without a fridge than a freezer. There's usually not much in my fridge and I could live without milk but the freezer is always packed.
Out kitchen is just too small so we have an under the kitchen larder fridge (not the one with the freezer drawer either)
We've always managed just fine, I pick up a lot of stuff fresh. It's only now I've moved offices so I am nowhere near a decent sized supermarket that I have actually thought it would be handy to have a freezer
Anyhoo, I rate Co-Op's wholemeal bread for toast. 75p a loaf and toasts nicer than every other wholemeal loaf I've tried. Another idea is a 50/50 bread - they toast nice as well.
Co-op bread is Kingsmill, not too fond on Kingsmill bread, but I will give it a go, thanks
It's only a £1 from Sainsbury's at present and I've never paid above £1.40 for it
Off work for a week, so I doubt I will get to Sainsburys until Sunday. Should still be on offer then, as we don't change the offers until next Wednesday.
the problem is the load is pretty small, so you do nto get a lot for your money

I could not cope without my 2, but some people got no choice.
