The Green Mile. Luckily I was at home and alone at the time.:o
I remember almost tearing up at The Bridge, a documentary about Golden Gate Bridge jumpers. I was fine during the movie but the song they chose for the credits was incredibly sad.
I got very misty eyed during the opening pre credit sequence of Star Trek 2009, mainly because the first 5 minutes is just so good, and I was just happy to see Trek back on the big screen.

I watched that the other week on Netflix, very powerful documentary. It didn't make me tear up or anything, but it was upsetting to watch.
Many films have had me tearing up - if not a full blown tear fest, then I at least have a "something in my eye" moments. Just today I had a couple of those moments
Of course. If a film doesn't make you feel some form of emotion there no point in even watching it, therefore sad moments in films, if they are effective, should make you feel sad, and thus at least moist around the eyes from time to time....
Yes, many times, most recently at Les Misérables. I also felt slightly emotional at the ending of Argo
Plenty of films in the past too, the ones that spring to mind are Schindler's List, Million Dollar Baby, Crash, The Lion King, The Fox and the Hound, To Kill A Mockingbird...
Also The Boy In The Strip Pyjamas while it surprisingly didnt make me cry i got pretty emotional watching it!
Deep Impact definitely. That bit where the newsreader is saying goodbye to her family...heartbreaking. I wont watch it anymore, even though its a fabulous film.

The Dambusters too, when the dog gets run over.
Aye that was sad but quite nice at the same time for me its the bit Oren the astronaut meets his son (Through the camera) for the first and last time even though he cant see him that destorys me!

Any film where an animal dies really.

Watched "Up" the other day, the Pixar film. I was a grown man in tears, and the movie had hardly begun!
Marley And Me
Dumbo
Rocky 3 (Micky's death)
The Champ
The Green Mile
Watership Down
Also The Boy In The Strip Pyjamas while it surprisingly didnt make me cry i got pretty emotional watching it!
The scene where Jim realises he can no longer remember what his parents look like. (Blub)
Anyone, man woman or child, who doesn't cry or at least come close to crying in the first 12 minutes of Up is dead inside.
I dunno if that or the end of Toy Story 3 is worse.
As for the question in the topic. Yes, countless times, the most recent being Les Misérables on Tuesday night.
