We could have included Eva Green in this as well if it weren't for several strategically placed shadows on her nether regions in Sin City 2.

She's done full nude scenes before.

Watched The Fisher King today, surprised to find that Robin Williams did a fully nude scene in the film, dancing around with willy out and flapping around... and in the middle of Central Park too...!

Yeah, but Williams was so hairy, I'm not sure it counts as nudity.

I remember him joking about it at the time. He said that passers-by were thinking it was a remake of "Quest For Fire".

"Lady Chatterley": a 2006 French adaptation of the second (and much less well-known) version of D.H. Lawrence's story has plenty of full-frontal nudity which includes numerous shots of the gamekeeper's erect penis. Bloody good film it is, too.

I watched Blue is the Warmest Colour on blu-ray recently (excellent film) which contained explicit lesbian sex but famously the actors wore fake vaginas! How bizarre is that? And for the sake of equality we also saw an erect member in another scene. This is the second mainstream (not porn) film I can recall that shows an erection. Both French films. The other was Baisse Moi (awful film).

    I loved Blue...

And i'm glad to see a fellow hater of Baise Moi, i think certain films want so much to be transgressive that they simply become exploitative. Awful film.

I watch mainly European films so I'm so used to full nudity that does not even register anymore, but lately I've seen the actor of Les Revenants, Pierre Perrier, do a full strip-tease in a film, that i won't forget soon.:D The film was s***by the way. It was called something like "American Translation".

My missus was keen to see a film she'd heard about called "Gand Pricks", turned out it was all about racing cars ;)

Baise Moi was simply a horrible viewing experience- sleazy, exploitative and plain nasty. It is in no way transgressive or taboo breaking.

I felt dirty and depressed after watching it.

Is it my imagination or did Embeth Davidtz go full frontal in The Gingerbread Man?

My eyes nearly popped out when I saw the Australian film Full Body Massage with Brian Brown and Mimi Rogers. I have it on R4 DVD.
Peter Greenaway films are good for a bit of T&A as well. Bloody confusing most of them though.

The thread seems to have moved from mild titilation of full frontal nudity to unsimulated sex scenes.

There's plenty of those scenes in indie and arthouse movies. Even some standard Euopean movies have near on hardcore scenes.

Not sure if it's been mentioned but Nadine Velazquez has a full frontal scene at the start of Flight.

I posted in another thread that I don't see the point of sex scenes in movies. They hardly ever add anything to the plot.

If people want to see them then put them on the DVD as extras or put them online.

There are plenty of sites where you can see most of these scenes, whether they are 10 seconds or 10 minutes long.

I absolutely agree with you on this part, I don't see the point in sex scenes, or nudity for that matter. I don't see what it brings to anything in the particular film what so ever. Normally I tend to stay away from films which I know might have that sort of thing.

Well, yes. Quite a turnout, isn't it.

It seems that for some people, any appearance - no matter how fleeting - of either the front garden or the 'old fella' makes a very lasting impression.

I can't believe they actually paid Brian Brown for that movie! Lucky *******!

If I could recommend a film with good nudity in it, try Room In Rome. A film about two girls, lesbians, who meet each other when on holiday in Rome, then spend the night together in an apartment, totally naked for more than half the film. Very nice.

Caught that Lindsay Lohan movie The Canyons the other night on Sky- quite a display of full frontal nudity at the beginning!

Director Nic Roeg has never been shy about featuring his actors in nude or sex scenes. "Walkabout" and "The Man Who Fell To Earth" have already been mentioned here.

Scenes in "Performance" (by Mick Jagger and Anita Pallenberg) and "Don't Look Now" (by Donald Sutherland and Julie Christie) were so realistic that questions were asked of both films whether the actors were having sex for real.

There was something on one of the el-cheapo Freeview channels (Movie Mix?) the other day called Life Without Dick, which turned out not to be the bold exploration of lesbian eroticism that I was expecting :(

To Live and Die in L.A. - William Petersen and (very briefly) Willem Dafoe.

    Shame - Michael Fassbender

1900 - Robert de Niro and a French actor - sorry, I'm blanking on his name [edited: Gerard Depardieu! A threesome scene.] (also, possibly Burt Lancaster? The horse barn scene with the little girl. It's been years since I watched 1900.)

Wuthering Heights (2011) - James Howson

Eastern Promises and The Indian Runner - Viggo Mortensen

28 Days Later - Cillian Murphy

    Wild Things - Kevin Bacon

Colour of Night - Bruce Willis

Can Billy Crudup's Dr Manhatten in Watchmen be counted?

I can't remember whether there is any full frontal moment during the naked-fight scene between Oliver Reed and Alan Bates in Women In Love. Can anyone recall?

Agreed. I remember going to see it in the west end at a cinema at the time with all that critical acclaim that was going on, but was very disappointed. I was very into world cinema back then too. Saw at lot of films at places like the Swiss Centre, the Lumiere and the Renoir. Saw La Belle Noiseuse there back in the nineties.

Yes, according to imdb.com it was one of the first mainstream movies to show male full frontals.
Both Oliver Reed and Alan Bates were initially apprehensive about filming the legendary wrestling scene due to insecurity over who had the largest "member". Eventually, after both actors got drunk, compared sizes and realized there was little difference between the two, filming continued with relative ease.
Oliver Reed getting drunk... I find that hard to believe :)
