I have a robust signal into a booster which has 2 outputs 1 goes to a TV approx 15 metres away but I need to run a long length about 80metres the route would be above a false ceiling in an office, if I used low loss screened coAx would that be ok ?

Use WF100 (satellite cable) as it's better than TV coax, it will most probably be fine - if not you could always add a 'launch' amplifier, but if the signal is already strong enough there's no need.

it makes a huge difference whether the tv signal is analogue (ie, tv-link, still widely used!) or digital, and also whether its terrestrial or satellite.

If signal quality is "below acceptable" .......

1 analogue signals become "snowy" as signal gets weaker.

2 digital signals "just disappear" ! When the Viterbi decoder in receiver can no longer cope.
