Any step in the right direction is good though. I'd pay for access to a live-stream (like I did the last one on C4), and broadcasting some of it on 5* or 5USA when there isn't anything worth watching on them (which is most of the time) wouldn't be too difficult.

I can't comment on any specific cases that I don't know the full details of, but I do know that some pretty vile comments were posted on Channel 5's Big Brother pages, which certainly became a very good example of how NOT to get your voice heard in the right way.

According to a report by The Guardian the other day ad sales are up massively at Channel 5 thanks to the young 16-34 aged audience BB provides, so I wouldn't bet on that outcome. I'd say it's 50/50 at the moment but we're only halfway through the contract so let's see what happens. Another strong showing from Celeb BB next month which I'm expecting will stand it in good stead.
