  My favourite episode has to be when Sam died it was so sad

  Episode: So sad but Sam's Death with the day in Blackpool.
  Storyline: Max Tyler trying to destroy Rachel.

  Storylines:
  Mika Grainger bullying and conclusion (although it was 3 episodes, it featured some good stuff)
  The Earl Kelly storyline (most shocking TV death ever for me, I never expected Maxine to die so early in series 4 too)
  Sambuca Kelly's cancer storyline
  Mika, Brett, Donte and Chlo storyline(made Tom one of my favourite characters and also made him softer)
  Jack's exit (even though he had all that stuff going on with the governers, he still made time for Mika who really needed support and showed that the pupils came first)

  The serial attacker storyline
  Maxine's baby found in the playground
  Rachel's prostitution past

  Rachel's past being exposed and the explosion
  Earl shoots Maxine

  Christine's alcoholism
  
  Note how only 4 of them are post Series 3...
