Are you gloating or just posting nonsense? No one knows yet if Celtic will be in Champions League yet. Let alone BT Sport.

Well if the article is to be believed the only contingency that would allow them to schedule that game at 12.15 on the Saturday "due to a result in a European competition" would be Celtic competing in the Europa League playoff round and the St. Johnstone game being pushed back to Sunday.

1 No I am not gloating

2 No I am not posting nonsense

BT Sport have told Macclesfield to be prepared to have an early kick off for the away match based on a European result.

The result(s) they are planning for are for Celtic to not being able to play on Sat Aug 20th live on BT Sport at 1215

As pointed out above this can only happen if Celtic are playing in the Europa League on Thursday 18th.

    Long winded I know BUT

this can only happen if Celtic beat the Gibraltan side AND then lose in the next round.

As a result UEFA reward Celtic with a place in the 4th Qualy Round of the Europa League !!!

Not gloating? So why are you clearly relishing Celtic to play in Europa League? Again, we don't know what's going to happen until all the qualifiers are over. Just speculating is just nonsense.

Someone worried about the match tomorrow, there. Chill out! :D

There are threads and threads of speculation on this forum. I assume you are going to pop onto the PL Fixtures thread and tell them off for speculating as well? :p:p

I don't see any relishing at all. It was an observation based on what I said about the Old Firm derby.

Is having a victim complex a prerequisite of supporting either half of the Old Firm?

I have no interest in either Celtic or Rangers

I came across the link via a English Conference club

I posted it because I was surprised how far ahead BT were planning

    It is not speculation

It is purely pointing out that the Broadcasters are planning for every scenario

It's the TV company that is speculating - because they have to.

PS I really hope you don't go to the football. With such hyper-sensitivity the oppo supporters would have you in floods of tears within minutes.

I Hope the league this season is not going to be about Rangers and Celtic.
I also hope every team in SPFL Premiership gets shown at lest once.
Take it Sky have the first picks to the SPFL Premiership games.

    Betfred Cup 2nd round tie:

    Wednesday August 10, 2016
Celtic v Motherwell, kick-off 7.45pm (Live on BT Sport)

This is an SPFL competition, so can technically go in here, but I wonder if I should get the thread title changed to cover all Scottish Football for when the Scottish Cup gets underway.

Maybe you should in order to prevent the cup games turning up in the pre-season fixtures thread ;-)

Anyone notice that Sportscene is on at 7.30 on Sunday night rather than the normal later time slot? Is this a permanent move or just because of the Olympic Games?

BT must be delighted to get a Celtic Rangers game on October 23 in League Cup. Still don't know why they let Sky get all 4 league games.

Because Sky effectively have control of "first pick" games, i.e. on any given weekend Sky can make a pick, or decide to pass, then BT get a chance.

Hibs v Dundee Utd being picked up again - this time by BT - could be foolish if Utd are still in the mid-table! Of course they'd ignore the rest of them like.

It will be very interesting to see if the SPFL bosses are confident enough to demand a increase in revenue from broadcasters for the next rights cycle from 2020 onwards. In theory BT could go for full rights without paying a fortune 30 million a year would get the rights for instance. Also will the SPFL select particular packages like the premier league.

    Haud me back.

Mind you, it'll probably be a cracker.

Bizarre that the first two meetings are on Sky/BT but the third is on Alba.

    Scottish Cup 4th Round

Raith Rovers v Hearts, KO 1.15pm

    Live on BBC Scotland.

I'll be stunned if Sky's games aren't Albion Rovers v Celtic and (The) Rangers v Motherwell. And of course, Sky knew they could pick Celtic's game and still also visit Ibrox because of the "ongoing situation between (The Rangers) and BBC Scotland".
