    If we have to celebrate this maudlin tribute to grasping retailers, let's at least move it out of the cold, grey, depressing and distinctly unromantic month of February.

    Although February might work in the Southern hemisphere and warmer countries.

    ....and for you OP ? - the usual candlelit meal in a quiet local restaurant, perhaps....
