Nothing to do with the SFA, rights were distributed centrally by UEFA and ITV hold highlight rights for the match.

Going back over old ground in terms of this forum, but Welsh fans should feel even more aggrieved by itv's negotiation tactics (which would appear to have been only caring about England). Clearly there are issues with itv's relationship with stv, but itv do cover Wales.

As for other options. live on BBC Radio 5 Live and BBC Scotland. Also like all Germany's qualifiers live on RTL if your satellite dish is pointing in the correct direction. (as ftakeith points out above beating me to RTL)

Get Sky. Get Sky Go. Find a stream online. Go to the pub and watch it. Go to a friend or family house.

So many options other than moaning

Exactly, but surely BBC Scotland or STV should have had the rights to highlights on the same night, not the day after when everyone will know the score.

Your right, personally I would have thought STV would produce there own highlights show as we all know ITV's show will be England focused. Also someone said that Monday is goals only not full highlights

I doubt the time allotted will be sufficient for all the German goals.

BTW, how the heck were you allowed back after the mrs brown stunt?:D

Don't blame the broadcasters blame UEFA for the way they now sell these games

Indeed, our footballing Independance in terms of our national team has been such a positive achievement that Political Independance is sure to follow and will ensure an Independant Scotland is as sucessfull as our football team.

[ when did we qualify last BTW ? ]

Aye, the person who was mrs brown, I wonder who that may have been?

Leaving aside the TV rights for the Euros, what sort of night is a Sunday or Monday for internationals. UEFA are muppets.

I'm glad they don't have them all.

With the odd bit of coverage on Freeview and Saorview, means I can get more of a flavour and variety of European football with recording matches on Sky and watching the ROI on RTÉ, England on ITV and whatever ITV's second choice is. Would be stuck with less matches if Sky covered them all. World would have been a much bleaker place if I could have recorded the Denmark game because one broadcaster had all the rights. :p

I like the new format. In the next international break we'll have games everyday between Thursday and Tuesday.

A small country will find it far easier to be successful in terms of education, good health, improved dealing with crime, much higher standard of living, looking after the elderly, and so on. A small country will continue to get little success in terms of winning the football World Cup, European championships, Olympic Games gold medals and so on.

There's been a lot of negativity about it in the English press, typical reaction against anything that comes from Europe probably, but I love it. It'll be great to get to watch more of Germany/Spain/Italy/France/Netherlands etc. without missing England games.

Me too, it makes the international weekend much more interesting than under the old system when there were no games being played on Saturday and Sunday.
