Holby City's Divine Jac Naylor

Jac Naylor is the best small screen b*tch since Alexis Colby
- I love her.
The only British tv worth watching after Jp and craig on HO

Totally agree. Love the scheming and backstabbing but also the unusual niceness....so many dimensions to the character! I want them to reveal a bit more about backstory of Jac though! Only little hints so far!

We haven't seen much of Jac for a few weeks though :(

She has a storyline coming up where....
she has a huge crash on her bike and is left fighting for her life, which happens after she discovers a shocking secret about Faye, she rushes back to the hospital to tell Joseph but she is in so much of a hurry she has a fatal crash.

I've watched Holby from the beiginning--remember dear old
Anton Meyer as the head Surgeon? It had much more depth
and solid story lines! Now it consists of a nurse who's on the
    hunt for a man-ANY-will do!At moment she's being ******
by the latest U.S.Surgeon to come into the show. Please can
the producers look at quality of story-action-ailments etc: in
those shows. We actually had separate wards-like the real
    Hospitals!!There were a Man's-Women-& Childrens wards!!
So newer is NOT always best!:rolleyes::rolleyes:

    At the start, there was
Darwin Ward - Now run for Cardio Patients
    Keller Ward - Mixed Sex

    Then they introduced
Otter Ward - Children and Paediatrics

Replaced that after a few years with
    Maternity

    Then replaced that with
AAU - Acute Admissions, one up from the ED

    And they have recently added
Holby Care - The new Private Ward

If anyone wants to see a great clip of the crash and the lead up to it, watch this video online.

I LOVED Anton, i was gutted when he left! I don't enjoy Holby City as much as I used to and I do feel that patient stories feature less often now. I also HATE HATE HATE the Faye Morton story. I can't decide if its only because I can't stand Patsy Kensit or if its because the story is crap. Probably both.

I've just watched tonight's episode. I do hope Jac isn't going to be killed off as she's one of my favourite characters.

Why does Jac suddenly care about what happens to Joseph. Is there a motive to her niceness?

The only thing I didn't get about her crash...why was she lying on the road alone at the end? Would have thought either the tractor or van driver would have stopped to help

i really hope she's not dead, i was starting to appreciate her character. i thought it was kind of harsh that nobody seemed to have stopped to help her!

btw, does anyone know what the song was at the end? i know i've heard it before but the name has gone right out of my head =S

I suspect you are like me--watch it hoping for a miracle that
we will find the old wards and staff are still there! It was a
wonderful depiction of Hospital life for Staff & Patients!

Here's hoping the fab and fiendish wench really is pregnant and not just playing with Joseph (no matter how fun that is to behold). I want to see Jac and Joseph back together and would love to see how Jac copes with being a mum... probably by installing Joseph as a house husband until she can afford a 24hr nanny like Connie;)

You're right it would be a great storyline.
I just have a feeling she is winding Joseph up but hope I am wrong. I can just imagine Joseph's 'rabbit in headlights' look if she really is pregnant.:D

Could you seriously imagine Jac being a mum?
She's the least maternal character I've ever seen. There's no way she'd be able to deal with a kid in her life.

Exactly it'd be funny and good TV seeing how it'd pan out.

She was quite good when she was holding Daisha's baby for a moment, a few weeks back! But yes long term character wise, I think it would be fascinating. I so hope she is pregnant!

Exactly I do think she has some maternal instincts but they are buried along with everything else that makes her vunerable. I really hope that this not being pregnant is a double bluff and she is after all. There is so much potential there - far more than with Daisha and Joe.

There is alot about Jac's past that is still unknown but we do know she grew up in care. I think that explains alot about how tough she is. She has had to be like that to survive and then thrive. And the fact she did not have stability as a child would mean that she would may find parenting harder than those who have been fortunate enough to having loving parents around them. I just feel the pregnancy storyline would have been a great way to add shade to her character. Not turn her into some boring goody goody (I love Jac's medusa qualities) but show more than just the scheming side. Having this be another wind up of Joseph just feels like going round in circles. Plus I like it when her and Joseph are actually together. It's fab tv watching him in thrall to someone he hates and loves at the same time. Where as the dog like worshipping look he gets around St Faye is tedious in the extreme.

    love jac.

id rather the jac/joesph tension than dull faye anyday.

it wouldve been an interesting story to have her pregnant.
i like the tough exterior, and little glimpses when it cracks.
