Did you have a happy childhood or should I have addressed it as unhappy?

There is only one adjective I can easily use to describe mine: Chaotic.

I was too young and too involved with life to be aware whether I was happy or not, to be honest.

I don't know. I was happy at the time, so in that way yes. But I look at some of my friends and their childhoods and I think in comparison no. But all in all it could have been a lot worse and the important thing is I wasn't unhappy at the time.

    Yes... very happy. Idyllic almost.

We didn't have much money, for a time we lived 6 of us in a 2 bedroom flat (:o) but everything I remember is positive.

My folks did an amazing job, hats off to the them to be honest.

The post about the 70's made me reflect.. I recall my parents' working during school holidays, being left alone with my house key tied around my neck. They worked and worked.
