LOVING the storyline between the feuding Scout and Nikki Boston lol, who happen to be my favourite characters :) Great acting from both of them!

Christine & Michael as a pair is just no no NO for me! :(

Is that it for Phoenix? Nice exit, but it was all a little sudden, squashed into the end there. :/

Why is his brother getting in on it then?

If I'd have won the lottery when I was his age the only things my brothers would have got would be postcards from exotic locations :)

tbh if you were in care you would know and thats basically what they are i always look out for my bro

Jade? I thought that aswell, She wasn't in last weeks episode either, I did read she was supposed to have left around the same time as Phoenix, perhaps she got one of those off screen exits..

I was just coming into the thread to post about Jade.

Whilst we're at it (and I may have missed it) what happened to Tariq?

    Yep.

Coincidentally, the first link mentions his lawyer was called Tariq Siddiqui! Although its spelled differently.

is anyone else missing the past characters?

*Raises hand* Yes! I do.:( Back when the storylines were good. I also liked the friendship between the old characters.

tbf the scars aren't that bad.. don't get why people are staring:confused:..

It's a bit of a nonsense. If they're going to act as if Imogen's scars are terribly disfiguring, they should have done a much more thorough job on making them look so. They're barely visible.

For all of its issues, I'm enjoying Series 8B a lot more than 8A so far. They now have multiple storylines all carrying over from episode to episode, whilst the self contained plot lines seem to be less of a focus. The PRU has teething problems, but is a nice idea to add something of an edge to the characterless school.

The show isn't what it once was, no. But then it can't win - some people ask it to divulge in sentiment and bring back soandso, or do this to make it more familiar. But when they do, people use the argument the show has run out of ideas. For what it is, I find it worth watching. I do wonder whether a new head teacher might soon be necessary to change the tone... Michael has been quite weak as interesting heads go in my opinion.
