Hate to bring this old chestnut up, but Broadband TV News reports that Real Digital will be launching this year.
Full article here http://www.broadbandtvnews.com/2014/04/11/real-digital-plans-a-return-to-the-uk/
The article does acknowledge the history of the service "After a soft launch with beta testers in October 2011, the service ceased transmitting six months later on March 31, 2012 to “undergo essential maintenance work”, and promised to return in approximately seven days, but never did. Subsequently announced re-launch dates never materialised."
This is posted for information only, there is little meaningful to discuss at this stage.

Do a search on these forums and you will find out. Every time a new thread has been started on this subject since the original, it has been closed and locked by the Digital Spy Mods.

Every thread descended into flaming, insults, slander.. eventually the subject was banned as it seemed impossible to discuss it on this forum a civilised manner.

A £15pm basic subscription surely eliminates the point of the platform. Originally the whole reason it sounded appealing was that it was essentially Freesat with the ability to add Sky Sports or Sky Movies without buying any other useless rubbish.

Why are we still allowed license fee threads then?
