Umbridge wouldn't go for Max's charm. He could only woe her with cats. I don't think any of the women in Harry Potter would touch him with a ten foot pole. I know Max thinks his 'wand' is great but they prefer theirs with magic

He swore on Laurens life to her face once that he wasn't spending time with Stacey (last year I think) and he was all though there was nothing in it (for Stacey).
