Quite a few well known stars left us in 1988-the year I was born including

TV gardener Percy Thrower

Carry On Legend Kenneth Williams

And legendery Singer Roy Orbison who had only just made a sucessful return to the charts when it happened

    Keith Moon (drummer from The Who)
    Nancy Spungen (girlfriend of and murdered by Sid Vicious from The Sex Pistols)
