It appears the mods are happy for ancient threads to get bumped. None of them have been locked apart from the Kate one. I guess that means we're all free to dig up anything of interest then irrespective of the thread's age.
Actually I've just noticed the ones that got bumped today seem to have gone. I wonder why this one remains unmolested.

It's a shame if all they're doing is removing them when that happens though. It means that archive is gone forever.
That's true. Maybe they've just taken them away for maintenance, who knows? (Edit: That's probably unlikely, isn't it?:o) Strange that they would lock the Kate one but remove the others.
Though I didn't see anything about it in the rules, I expect repeatedly bumping old threads is a punishable offence.
